Lead (Pb) Free Policy

The RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) came into force on 1st July 2006 and bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) falme retardants. 

Active Components identifies products that currently comply and products that contain any of the listed restricted substances. Such products identified as being RoHS compliant are labelled with an Active Components green RoHS sticker or are clearly market by our supplier. 

The documentation supplied with each delivery (packing slip, invoice or packaging label) will indicate if the product is RoHS compliant.
