Power Fuse or Surface Mount?

Power Fuses

A power fuse is a type of electrical fuse that is used to protect high-power circuits, such as those found in industrial and commercial applications. These fuses are typically larger in size and can handle higher current ratings than other types of fuses. They are designed to protect against overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.

Surface Mount Fuses

A surface mount fuse, also known as a SMD fuse, is a type of electrical fuse that is designed to be mounted directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). They are smaller in size than power fuses and are typically used in electronic devices and other low-power applications. They are designed to protect against overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.
