Our Hong Kong office further strengthens our ability to deliver, giving us close connections with trusted suppliers and established supply chain relationships across Asia. Combined with our local knowledge and hands-on approach, these relationships give our customers access to reliable supply while enabling us to respond quickly and effectively to their changing requirements.

James Mackley Director

James's history with Active Components started many years ago packing goods in the warehouse. James is passionate about maintaining the "Active" way and culture that is built around being the most capable, trustworthy and consistent in our industry by finding intelligent solution-based answers for SME electronic systems manufacturers.

 

Rob Mackley Director

Rob founded Active Components back in 1983 when he realised he could do a better job serving the electronics industry than his former employer. Over the years, Rob has led Active to become a significant supplier in the Australasian electronics industry, achieved through customer service excellence, supply chain efficiency, and competitive pricing. After more than 38 years as the founder and CEO of Active Components, Rob has transitioned to the role of Director and Advisor to the board.

 

Noor Al-Kattan General Manager

As the General Manager of the New Zealand and Australia teams, Noor brings a unique blend of engineering and leadership expertise to the company. Her diverse commercial skills and extensive experience underpin her insightful leadership and strategic thinking, enabling her to effectively guide, motivate and support her teams.

 

Phoebe Cheung General Manager – Hong Kong

Phoebe has been with our Hong Kong team for over eight years, starting as a Logistics Officer before working across multiple departments and progressing to General Manager. Her broad experience across the business gives her a deep understanding of our operations, making her an invaluable leader and a driving force behind our international partnerships.

 

Jenny Yan Chief Financial Officer

Jenny is a qualified chartered accountant with over 19 years of experience working at Active Components. Her strength is her ability to deliver financial solutions that enable the business to gain an understanding of the complete picture, so that it can respond appropriately.

Nathan Bettridge Regional Manager

Nathan leads a team of sales professionals that focus on our existing customer base in NZ's North Island. With over 24 years of experience at Active Components, starting in the warehouse, he has consistently delivered outstanding performance. Nathan and his team are passionate about delivering intelligent solutions to our existing client base.

 

Carl Ludemann Business Development Manager

Carl leads a team of sales professionals that focus on emerging markets in New Zealand and Australia, focusing on driving customer sales success and market growth. With over 22 years of experience at Active Components, he has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the business.

From Pacifika to Asia. Active has a strong presence in Australasia and in Asia, enabling us to get your products where they need to be in the quickest possible time. We offer global reach with our distribution systems. Freight enters our warehouses on a daily basis from all over the world, ensuring we meet our customers’ delivery targets on time and in full.
